Lords of the Fallen 2 slips to 2027
Due to a certain game coming late this year Lords of the Fallen 2 moves to 2027 release.
Another victim of the hype around Grand Theft Auto 6 has succumb to the expected November release. This time its Lords of the Fallen II which has had its release moved in to earl 2027 to avoid the highly competitive holiday period.
CI Games CEO Marek Tyminski posted on X what appears to be a strategic move.
"This updated release window also strategically positions Lords of the Fallen II outside of a highly competitive holiday period, ensuring the game receives the dedicated attention it deserves."
While the delay may be disappointing to fans it will avoid some major holiday releases at the end of 2026. It has meant the team can spend a little longer refining the experience when it arrives.
