Spyro: A Realm Beyond developer revealed massive risk to go independent was worth is with series sales reaching 11 million.
Toys for Bob has reveleated that it was a "massive, massive risk" to go independant but the Spyro Reignited Trilogy's 11 million sales proved that there is an audience for the seriers.
In an interview with GamesRader+ studio head Paul Yan and creative director Lou Studdert explained that Spyro has a deep place in the heart of the studio and that they have "always admired that kind of small but mighty underdog story".
The hope with Spyro: A Realm Beyond that it will be the first of many new games in the series.
