Unreal 25th Anniversary
Its amazing to see just how far things have come since 1998 but we must remember where we came from!
We all have to start somewhere and in 1998 Epic along with Digital Extremes released Unreal. The first title that paved the way where things are now with Unreal Engine 5 powering some amazing titles that use the game engine to power them.
Looking back its amazing to see the impact the title along with UT, UT2004 had on gaming and the communities that formed around them. With the introduction of things like UnrealEd mappers, modders and the like were able to get their hands dirty producing content for the game that appeared alongside offical expansions.
